Conquerors of Christ Youth Conference

Event Review

By Katia Parella

How do you teach the new generation Godly principles on work, business, career & following God’s will for your life? You can organize a youth conference & invite multiple nations, ministries, youth & successful business owners to not only preach on these important topics, but serve as real life examples. Which is exactly what Conquerors of Christ Youth Conference did at a three-day event in Albany, NY.

Participants from US, Russia, Ukraine, Ghana, India & Africa came together to pray, worship, listen to testimonies, share a meal & dance for the Lord.

The conference started on Friday at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church (OSL) gym with pick up basketball & a message from Vance Parella, the owner on National Home Improvement Services. Vance spoke from Matthew 16:24-26: “Then Jesus said to His disciples: “Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves & take up their cross & follow me. For whoever wants to save their life will lose it, but whoever loses their life for me will find it. What good will it be for someone to gain the whole world, yet forfeit their soul? Or what can anyone give in exchange for their soul?”. A little over a dozen young men came to play & listen to God’s Word. They were blessed & expressed their thankfulness.
